KRUUSE Monofast Plus is a sterile, synthetic, absorbable monofilament veterinary suture composed of polyglycolide-co-caprolactone and colored violet for clear visibility. It contains chlorhexidine diacetate, a broad-spectrum antibacterial agent, at no more than 60 µg/m. The 5-0 (EP 1) suture features a 17 mm, 1/2 circle, round-bodied taper point needle with a 70 cm suture length and an absorption profile of 90–120 days. Suitable for subcutaneous or intradermal suturing, GI surgery, urological surgery, and approximation of oral mucosa (e.g., gingival flaps).
