Ethicon PDS II suture 0 dyed is an absorbable, violet monofilament polydioxanone suture designed for dependable wound closure. Each 90 cm (36 in) strand is paired with a 1/2 circle taper point needle for smooth tissue passage. The unidirectional suture offers a long absorption profile of approximately 182–238 days. Available with CT-1 36 mm or CTX 48 mm taper needles, and supplied 24 units per box for procedural efficiency.
